Artists Wanted
Artists wanted to be juried by David Appalachian Crafts to sell artist's items both locally and in eastern half of United States. We Jury artists several times a year - next date is March 6,2012. Please call if you have any questions. Items should be sent in by February 27, 2012.
Types of Crafts Accepted:
- Fabric Art (quilts, etc)
- Woodworking
- Dollmaking (no plastic dolls)
- Painted artwork (either on canvas, or other materials)
- Prints
- Homemade Soaps
- Anything Artistic and Original... (surprise us!)
The following types of crafts CANNOT be accepted:
- Crafts made from kits of any kind
- Items made wholly or in part of plastic
- Crafts made with poor quality or reused materials
- Soiled items, including noticeable drawing lines on quilts, pillow covers or other fabric items
- Large quilts made of preprinted fabrics.
Work must be YOUR ORIGINAL WORK -
not partially done by someone else not named on the piece.
Membership is limited to any person residing in the Appalachian Region.
PLEASE NOTE: Crafts from juried crafters will be accepted during January to September. Please call if you are bringing items in or are picking items up so we can have 2 of our staff available to process items.
Contact David Appalachian Crafts @ 606-886-2377 for a Membership Application or come by and pick up a Membership Application and Handbook when you drop off samples of your work. We need 5 samples. Inquire about large items.
